Our machinery is partly powered by solar energy. With this we avoid the emission of 128.000kg of CO2 each year. This equals the emission of 762.000km of a modal car running on petrol or the quantity of CO2 in the air of 12.750 trees. Within a couple of years we are planning to place windmills on the 40.000m² of fallow ground next to our building.

Heat recycling: The heat of the ovens of 2 of our rotationpresses is delivered through a heat exchanger to the heatliquid. Because of that we save a lot of gas with heating in winter.

We are FSC-certified. You have the possibility to order printed matter on FSC-certified paper. FSC = Forest Stewardship Council: essence: every chopped tree has to be replanted.

Finally, the use of paper doesn’t implicate a loss of trees.

• The wood that is used to make paper are the narrow parts of the tree. The big trunks are used to make furniture.
• The trees get replanted. (It is certain that the trees get replanted because of the economical valorisation of the narrow trunks)
• The woodfibres get reused 7 times: the first time as nice white paper, after that with increasingly recycled woodfibres, the 4th time as newspaper, the 5th and 6th time for cardboards. Finally the woodfibres end in chipboards.
